The topic of my speech today is “Being a Good Listener”.
Good listening can always show respect, promote understanding, and improve interpersonal relationship.
Many people suggest that parents should listen more to their children, so they will understand them better, and find it easy to narrow the generation gap; teachers should listen more to their students, then they can meet their needs better, and place themselves in a good relationship with their students; students should listen more to their classmates, thus they will help and learn from each other, and a friends hip is likely to be formed.
What I want to stress is that each of us should listen to others. Show your respect and n ever stop others till they finish their talk; show you are interested by a supportive silence or a knowing smile; be open-minded to different opinio ns even though you dont like them. In a word, good listening can really enable us to get closer to each other.

每天放学回家，我就会启动“俯首帖耳”键和“视而不见”键。我首先会把最爱的小说看个痛快；接着掏出老妈的手机刷刷朋友圈，逛逛蚂蚁庄园和蚂蚁森林，淘宝到想剁手为止；最后打开乐视TV，欣赏各种肥皂剧……至于作业嘛，就启动“俯首帖耳”键，让老妈代劳啦！
“哆来咪发嗦拉西”，让我苦不堪言的弹琴时间到了。“顺风耳”老爸躺在他房间，居然也能听出我的琴声不够流畅，便开始碎碎念模式，说我各种不够认真投入……这时，我要启动“充耳不闻”键和“闭口不言”键，爸爸只能静静地进入美妙的梦境中。而我，不管怎么样胡弹，都没人唠叨啦！
假如家长可以遥控，这样的生活只应天上有，人间只可梦里享！可惜……
